I just want share a thought and say that you did a great job playing on my new album titled Inspiration. When you met me at my home studio, you played La Pathetique by Beethoven on the piano. Yo, I saw you play with the Neville Brothers at the bluesfestival in Notodden, Norway this summer (as one of the perhaps 10-15 persons sober enough to catch anything of the music).
And man, you are about the coolest thing i have seen on stage... all jumping around with the groove; i originally came to see Jimmy Vaughan, but after that it's Neville forever.
That, together with a Steely Dan concert in Paris made my year.

Saw your at Dwyer's August 11th. You were great as usual.Raelly enjoyed the show. Do you ever play straight scales using the slap method or do just certain licks work with it? I am just learning to slap and it's totally different than traditional bass method.. I heard Marcus Miller play a version of Jaco's "Teen Town" and he played it perfectly but using the slap method.
